Intro

Hi There!

I'm delighted you're interested in getting to know me better! Take a moment to read the quick bio below, and don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to learn more.

Growing up in Long Beach, California, my curiosity about how things worked led me to dismantle everything in sight, much to my parents' dismay. This curiosity, fueled by the dawning internet age, blossomed into a passion for technology.

I started with electronics engineering courses at city college but later pursued a faster-paced environment at ITT Technical Institute. My professional journey began at ACOM Solutions, where I worked on laser printer modification and technical support. This laid the foundation for my future success, which was further bolstered by obtaining a BS in electronics engineering and information technology.

Throughout my career, I've thrived in diverse roles such as Project Manager/Implementer and Business Systems Analyst, where I translated project management skills, customer service, and user needs into innovative solutions for various software projects. I also had the opportunity to manage small teams which helped me recognize the importance of leadership and knowledge sharing. Just before the COVID pandemic, my career highlight was co-leading the development of a game-changing web platform that attracted the attention of a multinational corporation that later acquired it, along with several colleagues and myself.

After the pandemic, I made a move to Central Florida, where I briefly worked in my new corporate role of Senior Manager of Product Development before realizing I needed a break to reassess my career goals. Long days coupled with evening meetings with several teams in different time zones led to a bit of burnout, unfortunately. After my break, I joined a startup, wearing multiple hats and enjoying the creative freedom it offered. I loved being able to work with a small team to effect change with a lot of autonomy. Regrettably, the startup floundered due to ineffective marketing and a weak sales strategy, but the experience added layers to my skill set and reinforced my resilience.

Today, my passion for bringing ideas to life remains strong, whether working solo or collaboratively on crafting seamless APIs and user-friendly web applications. While not a professional programmer, I possess a strong understanding of coding fundamentals and enjoy bridging the gap between technical aspects and business needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring science fiction cinema, adventuring with my pets, and tinkering with vintage tube radios and 3D printing.

Always eager for new challenges and opportunities to collaborate, I'm excited to connect with fellow innovators and create something extraordinary together.
